These Terms of Use apply to MoveShield, a mobile app that helps users create structured rental inspection evidence, photos, notes, and PDF reports. By using MoveShield, you agree to use it responsibly and only for lawful purposes.
App purpose
MoveShield is designed to help renters, landlords, and property managers organise property condition evidence for move-in and move-out inspections. The app provides structure for rooms, checklist items, notes, photos, and reports.
User responsibility
You are responsible for the information, photos, notes, and documents you create or upload. You should check records for accuracy before relying on them, sharing them, or using them in a dispute or property-management process.
Evidence and report limitations
MoveShield reports are generated from user-entered information and uploaded evidence. We do not verify the accuracy, completeness, timing, or legal sufficiency of your evidence. MoveShield does not guarantee rental bond, deposit, tribunal, court, insurance, or landlord outcomes.
No legal advice
MoveShield is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. If you need advice about a tenancy dispute, bond claim, lease, or legal obligation, contact a qualified professional or the relevant tenancy authority in your location.
Plans and purchases
MoveShield offers one-time plan purchases. The Basic plan is $10 USD one-time and includes 1 property, 12 rooms or areas, 8 checklist items per room, 1 photo per checklist item, and 7-year retention. The Advanced plan is $15 USD one-time and includes 4 properties, 20 rooms or areas per property, 12 checklist items per room, 2 photos per checklist item, and 7-year retention.
Store taxes, payment handling, currency conversion, refunds, and regional purchase rules may be handled by Google Play or another app store provider where applicable.
Acceptable use
You must not use MoveShield to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, abusive, or intentionally misleading content.
- Violate another person’s privacy, rights, or property.
- Attempt to bypass authentication, plan limits, or security controls.
- Interfere with MoveShield infrastructure, storage, or other users.
- Upload malware, exploit content, or files unrelated to rental condition evidence.
Data deletion
You may request deletion of your account and MoveShield data. Some records may be retained for a limited time where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, abuse-prevention, backup, or operational reasons. See the Delete account page for request instructions.
Changes and availability
MoveShield may change features, plan capabilities, storage infrastructure, or these Terms as the product evolves. We aim to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
